First period kit checklist for school
A first-period kit should be small, boringly practical and easy to restock. The goal is confidence, not a giant emergency bag.
Pack the basics
Include two pads, spare underwear, a sealable pouch, tissues and a short note about where to ask for help. Add pain relief only with family and clinician guidance.
Comfort options
A thin air-activated heat patch can provide warmth without a microwave or cord. It should be worn over fabric and removed if it feels too warm.
Make a simple plan
Identify a trusted adult and the nearest bathroom. Practicing one sentence—‘I got my period and need my kit’—can remove a lot of uncertainty.
Quick questions
